The TAMINA TF (Tubercular Fixation) Plate offers an improved approach to ORIF of three- and four-part proximal humerus fractures. The plate is designed to allow for direct stabilization of the head fragment and both tuberosities. The anatomically designed arms for the lesser and greater tuberosity assist in accuracy of reduction, allow for direct tuberosity fixation as well as the creation of a multiplanar screw construct for retention of the fracture reduction.
The plate offers a varus-avoiding shaft-metaphysis design to prevent secondary varus dislocation of the humeral head. Furthermore, all holes enable variable angle screw positioning, permitting tailored placement of all screws depending on the specific fracture pattern.
In addition to the TAMINA TF, the TAMINA is a versatile standard plate for open reduction and internal fixation of simple proximal humerus fractures.
